Inspired by the trails I hike, the colors of moss on the trees, the energy of the individuals I meet, the shape of the stones I turn over in the river, and the textures and smell of the vegetables growing in my garden.

Howdy! I’m Valerie - the designer, maker, and owner of Jackrabbit Juju. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, which is where I handcraft all of my jewelry in a teeny tiny studio.
Through hundreds of hours and substantial trial and error, my labor of love is evident in the attention to detail that can often get lost in our modern world. I respect the process and embrace the slow, steady, and deliberate work it takes to hand forge and solder metals into one of a kind designs. I’m dedicated to designing artisanal jewelry that is entirely crafted by hand, with an emphasis on comfort and quality. I hope you feel the pulse of energy released into the world with each unique piece.
When I’m not operating a torch or playing with tools I’m chasing around a silly and adventurous toddler. My husband and I enjoy travelling and exploring out-of-the-way towns, hunting for the best swimming holes, and camping under the stars.
